Any other Friday I would be there, but I'll be in FL on the 24th learning how to ride a pro stock bike. They are very good to the bikers. Suit up when y'all are ready to run and they will let y'all go. If y'all don't suit up y'all will sit.

The kill switch can be as easy as a coiled plastic key leash velcro'd to the throttle side rocker kill switch. Thats really it as far as tech inspection for the bike.

Nope. I have not messed with it at all since I tore it down the second time to try to fix the low hp issue. I have been busy with other problems.

Haha that was a rolling start! I didn't even open the throttle all the way in 1st gear that time. You'd figure after 6 years with the same bike I'd have launched it a million times.

Once upon a time chain guards were required on motorcycles at Baytown. Years ago I got booted because I didn't have one. Is this not the case anymore?

And racing slicks that aren't DOT but are Z rated are surely legal, right? After all, no funnybike or Pro Stock bike runs DOT tires.

There's no workaround for the deadman's switch? I'm not drilling a hole in my Beemer's kill button, which is, by the way, a push button and not a toggle switch.

I havent been out there in 4 years, but they had the chainguard rule before, but didnt enforce it much on street looking bikes.

infact they were kind of lax on a few regs.
