I met the owner on my way to work earlier this year.
He blew by me on one wheel on the I-10 feeder.
I pulled up next to him less than a block later and asked if he posted on here.

Bobby does own the joint...but regardless, they are both Cooler than a fan. That's where i got my bike from, and they put my tires on. Class A people and shop. Oh and chris is a badass mechanic! I will NOT take my bike anywhere else!

Highly recommended on the Jus10 Scale!

Yeah I was there about a month ago. This girl was buying an R1. She turned and asked me if I liked her bike and I was like yeah it's nice. Then says it's my first bike!! I was like WTF! She had taken the MSF like 3 weeks prior (only experience on a bike from what she told me). She didnt know anything about bikes, I told her how much power it had and that people that have been riding for yrs didnt have such a powerful bike. I told her it would be smarter to have started on a smaller bike like a 500 at the very least. Then I just told her to be very careful, I mean what more can you say to someone. You cant talk someone out of buying something they have their mind set on. She said she was gonna practice in her neighborhood...(it was a very nice R1, custom paint, chromed out)! And Hwy 6 is not an easy intersection to cross, (luckily they decided on letting one of the guys from the shop drive it home for her). So anyway as I was leaving the last thing I heard her ask was "how do you start it". I just prayed for her.

mannnn....Bobby showed me that bike when it was in pieces at the old shop... he said the guy who bought it didnt even get a full mile down the road and wrecked it. But all the main components such as the frame, were ok. So he replaced most of the bike, had it painted and chromed (sexy as if I might add) such a baaaaaaaaaaad bike.

<----slightly jealous, but mostly scared for that girl!!!

i think i heard about that...didnt she lay it down a couple of days later? my aunt kinda did the same thing: got a wild hair up her a$$ after she got divorced and bought a zx9 or something then laid it down. i dont know why people feel the need to impress with such large engine displacements. r6s can haul as much as an r1 with the right rider and are easier to handle; i hope that girl is ok.

I dont doubt she dropped it, she was clueless. Hopefully she's taking it easy on that thing. It was a nice looking bike for sure!!
