Lee, if you're really considering that bike, wait until it has the zx10 motor like charles said. that z1000 motor is garbage

don't get me wrong it's a good motor though. they have a naked race series over seas and the z1000s are cleaning up in that series......

I guess i could have worded that differently. . . That bike would have a lot MORE potential if kawi would just go ahead and drop in the zx10 motor like they said they were going to.

What would be better is if Kawasaki made a naked ZX10! Diizzam!!
Better suspension and that helluva power!! than dropping the zx10 motor in the z1000 chassis.

I hate the exhaust, but that's nothing carbon high mounts couldn't take care of.

Kawasaki has been exhaust impaired for a few years now...
Some of their color choice don' seem so hot either like the orange and the green. i know some think they are great but that green?
Don't tell me about the tradition that was a ugly color back when they first picked it!

Pipes looked weird in the old setup and they still look missplaced. Not a bad looking bike overall though. If I was in the markert for a new Naked bike though, I'd be all over the Speed Triple.
