This hits so hard and close to home for me. I hope and pray to that your dad makes a remarkable recovery. I hope that he doesn't come out being paralyzed like me. But if he does, I'll be right here for him if he needs anything or if you or your family needs anything. I can help with guidance and tips.

I've emailed KHOU and told them the story then asked for their aid. I gave them your #, vandals, but told them not to call you unless they really had to. Vehicle and accident description along with my cell # was included. is anything else known about the condition of the car except that it was a black acura with front end damage?

Yep, but I think that may be partially due to dumba** on 290 at eldridge the other day...

true, im not saying we dont speed either.. lets be real, most of us do. but when there is an accident they automatically thing speed was the problem.

they never take into account the giant chug hole, that didnt look in his mirror before changing lanes, 18 wheeler tire debri(gator), or any of those things.. the always jump straight to "speed was a factor"

Oh no...most of us probably do speed but I mostly speed so that I can get past all the dumb f**ks on the road. After I'm past the most densely packed areas of traffic, I slow down. Bottom line tho, get the story right and don't "assume" before verifying...they are supposed to report the news, not create it...o well, they'll get it right one of these days...

Vandals and his family could use all the prayers right now. I am at the hospital with him and his family and things keep going back and forth about how his dad is doing. The more support the better!!!
