sorry its been so long for an update we got to the hospital at about 5a.m. we have had a couple of updates since then. we found out exactly what happened in the accident it appears that his dad and 2 other riders were stopped in traffic and a car going 40-60 didn't see them and wrecked into all three of them we dont know the condition of the other 2 riders but his dad was thrown off of the bike and into the back of a pickup truck. he has a brokem pelvis, broken neck possibly paralized from the neck down, internal bleeding that they can not get to stop, there is blood between the hemispheirs (sp?) in his brain. it doesn't look good guys keep him in his prayers and vandals is taking it pretty hard. they still haven't gotten to see him yet or figured out exactly everything thats wrong with him. but i need to get back to the emergency room incase there is an update hes at herman memorial.

edit: i forgot to add that the car that hit him ran all i know is it was a woman driver and we want to find out who the person is asap so if you have any info call me at 254-723-2646

Ownage, i'll hit you up later..Still no word on when i'll be able to see my dad.. hopefully soon from what other riders told me, it was a black acura that hit and ran, pretty bad front end damage and can barely move (i dunno why someone couldnt follow it:dontknow: ) Istill dont know what condition the r1 is in or even where they hauled it off too.. But thats not the matter at hand right now

I'll keep you guys updated

Hope everything turns out well. It blows my mind to hear about inconsiderate people like that. I hope your dad gets better and I hope they catch that woman and imprison her.

Fleeing the scene of an accident
Failure to stop and render aid?
Unsafe speed

what else could they nail her for?

Anyhow. If there is anything you need hit me up.

There is a reason why I have avoided that 290/610/I-10 interchange mess and are not taking my bike to school because of that.

This really bites. I am very sorry for your Dad, Vandals, and hope it all turns out for the better.

I do hope they find the driver. How come they didn't say anything on the news about this? If they put this up, I am sure someone will come forward. I cannot believe she ran. May she get what should be coming to her... No Mercy for running.

All the best wishes, keeping my fingers crossed...

From what I hear from other people who were there, they couldnt tell that it was a he of a she driving.. all the knew was bike parts flying everywhere like it had exploded.. No one knew what happened untill they saw the car driving off..

Things are really not looking good for for my dad, but i know he can fight the battle and make it out alive. He has before, and he well do it again.:BangHead:

I still cant believe that I just told my dad last night to keep away from that area and how lucky he was to have kept that r1 nice and shinny since he bought it..

Now I dont even know if i will be able to talk to him again..
