please help :(

I tried adjusting my slack on my clutch(its cable cluth) i loosened the nut and then tighten the screw then tiggtened the nut back up but now i have so much slack i cant even adjust it at the clutch grip :( its as if my clutch cable needs to be replaced :'( idk how to do it help me please! If someone can text or call me now i cant even get to work 832 332 9357

Its not retracting :( its a 97 with 17,000 miles its time i need it fixed like today i called in for it. If someone helps me get the part and install ill pay man im not ballin but i cant afford to miss work
