I'll be back for my usual affliction. Making a run for the HWT nov championship. Gonna do a couple WERA rounds. Ran some decent times at Barber early this year so we'll see what happens. I love that track. Can ya tell?

Not to discourage ANYONE from getting your license, but You have to complete all the Prov. Novice requirements to race in the big bike endurance. In other words. no Yellow shirt novices in the endurance. Just do your cornerworking and two race weekends sprinting & your set to do as you wish.

I'll be doing sprints a least, thinking about doing some endurance as well.Hey buck,by the way,I saw that cmra will be giving awards for 1st year experts in each class-kind of like an intermediate class-so the is still hope to podium-but yea its still going to be tough.Full year of cmra is kind of expensive-so I'd like to do other venues-but only have a certain # of vac days & $$

Maybe even you turo............. all you have to do is sit through the class, pass a VERY simple test on flags and such and presto chango you are a novice race. Two cornerwork days and a couple of sprints and off you go. I've asked to be considered for CMRA licensing, the BOD is supposed to be working on it. Hopefully you'll be able to get your license here in Houston on a Sat or Sun instead of Fridays or Mondays at an out of town/state track.

Talked with FZ1 a little about getting out of the usual area and trying out some of the more well known tracks.
