Yeah, that's totally cool but I can't ever see that happening here... I still dream of opening my own lil shop like they have on the military posts. Pay by the hour for a work stall and have all the tools you need at your disposal.

I do miss the auto shop on military bases. They really did have all the tools. I even had a friend repaint his car because they even had a paint booth with all the equipment.

when I was touring, I had a leveling valve go bad on my bus. I needed access to a pit in order to get to it. a truck stop I stopped at would not touch it, so I asked if i could just borrow their stall. it was 3am and no one was there so they let me. I changed out the valve and was on my way. in my rush I forgot my shop manual there, I called them and they held on to it for me for a couple days until I went past there again. good bunch of people there and you'd be surprised what people will do if you just ask.

Americans don't like Canada? Then why is our border with them the longest unguarded border in the world? Its fun to make jokes about Canadians but I think when push comes to shove most Americans know that Canada is our closest friend.

Subaru Days at Gillman Subaru Southwest, FTW!! Love my Subaru dealership!
They don't do it often (2x/yr?), but their service people are the best!

Floyd's not bad either. :-)

I've got a small shop kind of like that. Don't ever mind teaching people how to do stuff or let them wrench on their own bike with me. Ask Miguel he's stopped by before.
