Question Beltway

Can anyone tell me what's the deal with the Toll road? I have never seen a motorcycle stopped at the toll booth. I always see them cruise through the EZ Tag lanes. Is this just a horrible coincidence that they all have EZ Tags? Or do we not need them? Or do we just have a city full of riders who just dont give t?

I figure worse case scenario...I could always learn to stand up wheelies through the toll booth. (would make for a nice christmas card picture, yeah?)

lots of em

I roll eztag on my bike, but if you know where to ride in the lane, no eztag is needed as it won't detect ya and henceforth, won't take yer' picture running 'em

Hm, guess you are never around when we go through the toll booth. :icon_bigg

You do need an ez tag. I have one for my truck and could easily get one for my bike but my boyfriend doesn't have one so I just leave my bike tagless. We also don't go through it that often.

I heard that if you don't have an ez tag, they run your plate and if they find an ez tag in the system for you, then they'll add it to that. Now, that could just be rumor too but maybe that is why a lot of bikes just zoom right through the ez tag lane ... ?!?

Just bend it before you go thru the toll...and/or figure out the perspective the shot will be taken from and shape your plate accordingly. I think it's a nice lil fine though if you run it w/o having a tag...not sure, but I've heard...

I used to get mail for a previous occupant at a house I lived in. I don't know how I know this, because I never opened his mail, but he got hit about once a month for driving through the EZ tag w/o a tag. He had like 15 violations, but the fine was always like $15.

get an ez-tag and keep it in your jacket or the "trunk of you bike" if you have one. this way it wont read it, but when the police pull you over and try to give you a ticket for running it they wont be able to.

Or since you have the eztag do like most of us do and put it by the gauges so you avoid any problems.

Via email, EZ tag just told me that you don't even get hit with "administrative fees' until your third illegal drive thru.

I mentioned the fact that I have never seen a motorcycle stopped before, and wondered if it was coincidence or they all had EZ TAGS. This IS NOT rocket science here....just simple conversation, and wannabe geniuses pop off with smart remarks....
