Microphone help

I'm loking for a microphone, one of those "hands free' for like DJ'ing, or at least a wireless regular microphone. I don't know much about this, i wanted for a show for my son's BD Saturday, so it can be hooked up to a radio or something. suggestions?

Radio Shack has a wireless mic kit, with a lapel mic....we got one for our fitness center that we just opened, for the group exercise room. And I got a mixer so I can mix the mic in with the CD player the instructors use. If you're going to be using it quite I bit I'd suggest getting the one from radio shack. Wasn't too bad price wise....around $50 for the lapel style mic kit.

Target also had a microphone deal, really inexpensive at $20, for Kareoke (sp?) machines but it was bad, lots of static and feed back. We tried this first and it was junk.
