Electric bills

just got my electric bill online statement. Must be a mistake. It's been anywhere from $300 tp $400 a month. This is what they just sent me.

Just a reminder that your current Reliant Energy electricity bill for account #xxxxxxxxx, due 12/20/2006, in the amount of $28.49 is ready

Why are you still using Reliant? They have some of the highest electric rates in town. They charge $0.163/kWh. Are you nuts?

Just be careful who you choose. From what i heard if the company that you sign with goes out of business, they will switch you back automatically to reliant and you will pay some outrageous penalty fees.

The way to be careful is to look at your electricity bill every month and make to make sure you know who you are sending the check to.

Yes, it's all true.

Every Reliant customer pays a premium for the privilege to contribute to Reliant's fund to ensure that the Reliant name stays on the outside of a stadium of a loosing team.

so you pay a penalty fee for getting forced over to them?

Sometimes I think fight club had a good idea with blowing up the credit card buildings and information on everyone. We should include more companys in that thought as well

Why would you want to get your windows replaced?

For the same price you could get an on-the-grid solar power system that allows you to make your own electricity and virtually eliminate your entire electricity bill.

But hey, it's only money and you get more every Friday right?
