My wife works for Chevron, so we have a credit card that gives us ten cents a gallon back. It's good gasoline, so I use it in the Yamaha.

But in the Saab that takes 16 gallons of premium, I use Kroger or Sam's Club. The card I use there puts 2% (lately about 7 cents per gallon) in my kid's college fund.

For those who are loyal to shell. I highly suggest you give cheveron a try. I've tried both back to back and cheveron's additive, techron, makes everything feel so much smoother than shell v-power. And you only get v-power with premium, while you get techron with every grade at cheveron. Also, cheveron is usually more inexpensive.

I'll stop anywhere if i need gas. Car or Bike. I vote Chevron because is the closest to me. There's a new Shell just around the corner but Shell is always more expensive than Chevron. I always use regular.

Just an FYI. The only difference between the brands is the additive package. The gasoline from any name brand service station could be from any oil company refinery. The distribution center adds the additives to bulk gasoline that comes from whatever refinery.

Kroger or Valero. Plus in the car and, Premium in the bikes.

Kroger and Valero are closest to work and home. No other reason but convenience. And I shop at Kroger, so I usually have anywhere from .10 to .50 extra I can discount from the price.
