I always hit my high beams whenever a car is waiting to pull out of a drive, or at an intersection, or in a left turn lane

I'll go on a limb and say maybe Obed though about a house driveway, I know I did, but good thing I read Bevo's post because I was so close to asking the same thing.

Are you on the stock horn or aftermarket?

Just curious.

Yeah today on i-10 a guy started to exit into a driveway, er to the feeder and I had to go onto the breakdown lane. Layed on the horn(and it is a loud horn), he never moved, just sat there smoking. I now regret I did not take the law into my own hands but in any event it was good therapy.

Sucks. Normal part of riding here unfortunately.

Best thing you can do is put yourself in the correct lane and space yourself from as many vehicles as possible. Hard to prevent cars that just jar-out though...

I do that sometimes, but I worry that sometime someone will take it as a "go ahead" flash, and pull out.
