Ok so an update on the helmet. Went for a 300 miles ride yesterday and the first hour of which my jaw was killing me. Hurt like . I didn't want to return the helmet because its the first that fit my giant skull so well. I took the pad out but the road noise was pretty bad.

So today I did a bit of surgery. I cut about an inch of foam off the padding on either side and then sewed everything back together. Its not pretty and it is still a tight fit but it doesn't make it feel like my jaw is going to pop out either.

I think if some dirty says that after hitting him, he has permission to beat them to death with his hi-vis helmet.

*Whack* *Whack* See me now ? *Whack*

Especially considering he's linebacker shaped and he's taller than my truck when he's on his KLR.
