GSXR and EZTag?

Any suggestions on a good place to mount the EZTag on a GSXR750? I can't see any way to secure it around the windscreen. Would under the passenger seat work - able to be read by the sensor?

I keep mine in a jacket pocket... But.... It doesn't really matter as long as you have registered your tag with the toll road authority. They now read the tags as you pass thru. You won't get a violation in the mail if the tag is registered.

Zip tie it under the passenger seat. Remove the rear seat you will see two holes, feed a zip tie through it hold the tag get another zip tie and done.

Yup, I've been keeping one in my jacket pocket for years, and never had a problem with fines or hate mail. But I had to go through an EZtag reader recently at an exit that was gate controlled; that's when I discovered that the vertical orientation of the tag in my pocket wouldn't work, and therefore the gate wouldn't open.

I had to sit there at the toll booth, leaning backwards, fishing in my pocket w. gloves on trying to pull the tag out, or at least rotate it to horizontal, before the gate finally lifted.

So just trying to avoid that hassle in the future.

I'll give under the seat a try, thanks.

Doesn't matter,Gixxxxters are too fast for the toll cameras to snap a pic of the plates anyways.

Mine is under the passenger seat and it opens the gates on the ramps. I don't know if it matters but I keep the adhesive side up.

Mine is in the breast pocket of my jacket.

Kind of a pain making sure I move it if I switch jackets, but I rarely hit tolls so its not a huge deal.

I'm going to jinx myself - zip tied it to the toolkit. Now I'll break down for sure!

Haven't had a chance to test it against a gate-controlled EZ Tag lane yet, though. I can just see having to shut off the engine so I can pull the key and remove the rear seat so the tag can be read Will report back...

If it doesn't work like that, flip it over so the adhesive side is up.
