Back in the game....next Hare Scramble Feb 4&5 Huntsville, TX

Well, I'm officially back in the game....even if I am slow at this point. After logging 36 miles last weekend out at Brazos Valley I'm officially releasing myself to race.

That being said, next race is February 4&5 at Outlaw Trax which is located VERY close to SHNF and just north of Houston in Huntsville, TX.

$50 race entry fee + $20 yearly series fee (if you didn't pay your yearly fee at event #1)

$35 for every race after the initial class

Classes are available for all ages and skill levels. Kids races are taking place on both Saturday and Sunday now (as well as a women's class-E class I think). Chicks are welcome to race the open classes if they so desire.

flyer isn't out yet, but I'll post it when it becomes available.

more info here:

http://www.texasxtremeoffroadracing....ge/7370235.htm

post up if you have questions and I'll try to answer them.

I'll probably run 1 hour Open C....although Ty and Stevens keeps pushing me to go to 2 hour open B....dudes must be nuts....then again, I do have B plates so you never know. Depends if I feel like being a glutton for punishment.

Just a matter of changing rims and adjusting the suspension on the KTM.

a little bit of everything....most common bikes....2 stroke 250 or 300's I'd say. Plenty of people wringing the throttle out on larger and smaller bikes though, including four strokes. KTM's seems to take the cake in this series though.

I'm in. Good to see you back Dbuck.
Any bike will do. 250, 450, whatever. There are lots of 2 strokes, too. A few vintage bikes and one guy does pretty well on an xr200.

+1 and not just this series. Any woods series is going to be a sea of orange. I would say the most bikes by number would be KTM 2 smokers, followed by KTM 4 strokes, followed by Yamaha 2 strokes, followed by Kawi 4 strokes.

Sorry, didn't see a KTM in your profile! Bring it! It's a blast. Headed to Outlaw at 7am today to get a few laps in!

250 2 stroke is the weapon of choice, lot of 450/250 4 strokes too! And yes there is an old man who really makes a xr200 work, and a guy does real well on a xr650r(he's nuts tho, lol) so much for needing a new bike!
