with the concerns that the noob be more than somebody who has made a few posts and then put himself on the list...
maybe the list should be a list of nominations from the members who have been on awhile... and see something promising in what the newbie is doing with his riding...

(and I am not putting myself in the catagory of one who has been on awhile)

I'm also looking for noobs to be proactive in this...

Post on this thread or I can start a thread with interested noobs...

I don't to just grab a random one that has not expressed interest and say here is our money, now go to the track

better way to filter out the interested noobs , as for right now i assuming its 1 member a month, i honestly think u should an expiration on it, no sence in someone winning in Feb and uses it in Sept when there are eager beavers drooling over a shot, also find a way for the winner to forfeit all rights to the opportunity is he/she chooses to sell it

Lots of details still to consider...

The credit won't be purchased until the noob can go...and confirms.

I dont know if it has been posted but I am sure there are some long time riders that have never been to the track and they should be included.

May be able to help out with leathers, helmets, boots and a wrench...give me a shout if i can help...maybe raffle off track stuff instead of just asking for donations, might help drive up funds...maybe a $10 ride with bbq and a top less bike wash (chicks, not dudes)

None post-whoring post.

Must have at one point had an intro thread.

Attend some form of noobs exclusive ride, a ride ran by the people mentioned on the "responsible leader thread".

Make an attempt to visit a trackday, either parade laps or spectator (just for the familiarity)

Attend a meet (preferably a central meet or one with plenty of track vets) and no need to participate or engage in riding to or after the meet if not comfortable.

Should be willing to help other members as well, if possible...

I know some can be done and not all, but this is what I take as community involvement.

I already have a few people that have texted me and offered money, time and support. This is great response and I'm really excited to set this off, I will start a thread to gauge New people's interest.

What should I call it for it to jump out to the lurkers and noobs?

I think it's a great idea Ivan. Count me in on some donations. I'm going to be starting my own program. It's called Trackdays for . Hot show me them , I pay for half their track day. And yeah if you get your girl is hot and shows me hers then you can use the 50% track day.

Yeah, regarding mkgsxr, I guess he just loves the attention, ill let him make an of himself, which isn't hard for him.
Great idea.... this will really help a lot of riders get to the track... I know i'm not perfect when it comes to street riding, but the track has really taught me how to ride safer.. I think this will also help the track day organizations become more sustained, and we all will benefit from more track time.. Lets just face it ..remember back to when you were new.. and you joined a MC community..then they sponsored a track day for you...how awesome is that!!

Great Idea Ivan!!

Random idea...

Make new shirts pretty much like the ones you guys have already made in the past with some badge or new picture or something promoting this idea and sell it a little over cost to raise some funds. OR Just plan a ride out somewhere and have everyone bring out 5 bucks or some sort of donation.

Just a noob trying to help out what seems like a good idea to me.
