Weekend getaway ride and muddy fun!!

Ok so this is the first time for me to post a event but i know that alot of peeps like to get into these so... i figured id take a shot....

Rebel Race (like Tough Mudder and Warrior dash but not as long or in winter months)

Saturday June 9, 2012

578 FM-153
Smithville, Texas 78957

Rebel Race is offering a 3.1 mile race and a 9.3 mile race in the Austin/ San Antonio Texas area. (The 9.3 mile race is a brutal extension of the 3.1 mile race)

Its a ways off but at least this would give enough time for us to get teams together and what nots.. They have camping sites for like 95$ that can camp up to 6 ppl.. its a good 2-3 hr drive up there and if the weekend is nice we can make it a ride there and back... back roads style... anyone down?

Now that's what I'm talking about. I love doing both, riding and running. I will probably run the 3.1 race. Count me in, where do I register?

oops... i forgot to link it.. Ill prob be doing the 10:30am race.. that way we can ride there friday afternoon.. prob be best to do camping since the closest town hotels could cost more.. 6 ppl splitting 95-100 for a campsite is cheaper... anyway.. even if you go to watch it will be a blast!!

Hi I am new to Houston and have been looking for exactly this type of action. I also have been looking for other to ride with so not really sure how this works but I am down to join you on this ride to the race if I am available in June, If I am you can count me in for the 15k run. I ran the Tough Mudder last winter in VT. so it would be nice to not freeze during a run. Oh and I am always down to ride as well, I dont know any good roads or routes to ride yet.
