Spring Branch MSF BRC

Has anyone taken the Spring Branch MSF course for basic riders?

I was wondering how did the class went? How long was book hours and how long was the riding practices?

I imagine it be something like 5 hours of book and 10 hours of riding instruction. BRC have to adhere to guidelines put out by DPS or something like that. Consider Awesome Cycles and use the MH discount.

I was thinking about going to Awesome cycles because of how many good reviews there were but none of their classes are compatible with my current schedule and they are 50 minutes away from me. The Spring Branch BRC is closer to me and costs 170 and has a schedule that would fit mine.
Sigh but I wanna practice on a sport bike, spring branch doesn't have any.

All BRC's follow the same lesson plan, just varies on teaching styles/atmosphere.

I would suggest using their standard 250 for the test and not a sportbike. You aren't going to be going fast and you don't want to be uncomfortable sitting on the bike. I don't see any befefit in using a Ninja.

After the class go buy what you want.

Took the Spring Branch 2 day course..but it's all the same corriculum anywhere you take the course. 7am to 1pm?? 1/2 course drills on 250cc cruisers and 1/2 classroom lessons.
Just don't take it during the Summer, even if they offer a discount!!
You will die of dehydration and heat exhaustion!!

I guess they changed it now cause the course is now 7am-5pm. Someone told me the motorcycle practice has the most hours of the day.
