Whoever the idiots were....

...who passed me on I-10 minutes ago--about 9:50PM--on I-10 eastbound around Bingle/Voss--AT ABOUT 120-140 MPH, KNOCK IT OFF!!!!

I was in my car going about 75mph, and about 6-8 of you fools nearly collided with me.

This is NOT a racetrack. You are giving the rest of us a bad name. You are putting many innocent people at risk, not to mention your own foolish selves.

I own 2 fast cars, and 2 fast bikes. When given the opportunity, on an open stretch of road, I've been known to open them up, no doubt. BUT NOT WEAVING THROUGH DENSE TRAFFIC LIKE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS! If one car chooses to change lanes--and they can't see you coming up from behind, trust me (I'm observant, and I didn't see you!), you're toast!

You are hurting our cause--and making us sportbikers out to appear as neanderthal hooligans. KNOCK IT OFF, TAKE IT TO THE TRACK!

It's Wednesday after PP1. It happens every week and cops are waiting for them too.

They're faster than they're getting dead. It's like waiting for rabbits to die in farm equipment accidents. By the time you get one they already made eight more.

this behavior gives the boost of economy, such as attorney, EMS, bike shops, chiro-practice, mortuary etc.
And of course, due to natural selection, they don't stick around too long so good for the eco-system as a whole

Maybe you're right, but it still harms our reputation overall. Whenever people learn that I ride sportbikes, the first stories they tell is of all the boneheads doing wheelies and lane-splitting down crowded freeways. I always find myself having to defend our passion, but it's getting old...

Greg

PS--My fiancee works for Buffalo Bayou Partnership, the group who fished the deceased biker out of the bayou today. Just learned of that tonight when I logged on here. Be careful out there guys and gals--fun is fun, but dead is forever!!
