Rider Found in Buffalo Bayou Near Downtown

Wow this is close to my JOB.

http://www.chron.com/news/houston-te...photo-2098511/

"The body of a motorcyclist was found floating in Buffalo Bayou near downtown Wednesday morning.

The man's body was discovered in the water along Allen Parkway near Sabine about 9:50 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department.

Authorities found a motorcycle on a bayou bank nearby that may indicate the man was eastbound on Memorial Drive when he crashed.

Police said the workers skimming trash along the bayou spotted the body and called authorities. The man's name has not been released.

Police said officers could not determine how he died or how long he had been in the water.

No other information was immediately available."

RIP

what do you mean the comments are harsh? Folks wanting to know how it happened is harsh? I did not see anyone bad mouthing him at all, when something like this happens in a place that I am likely to ride, I like to know how bad things happen to help reduce my odds of doing the same thing...
it is odd, that is not a really bad section of road, and it took some doing to get into the water....so I would like to know how it happened... did someone run him off the road... is he shot...did the bike have a mechanical malfunction...
sorry, I just do not see anything harsh in anything anyone said.

Everybody is making really tasteless jokes or commenting on how sport bike riders race everywhere they go.

They haven't even released the name, yet. That's somebody's son.
