I have a 115ft driveway. Let's have a garage sale/swap meet/get ta know one another get together. :icon_bigg Then, if we have it in December, the more gentle minded MH folks could go on a Christmas light ride.

OK Cashtown, but if we do that, let's be sure we're polite about it so we don't get a bad reputation.

Don't mind me sir, just here to relieve you of your transport,
be a dear and hand over the keys now gov'nu,
Oh, do mind the traffic to your right when you step away from the cycle,
Don't bother walking, I've already dispatched a Taxi for your return trip,
Cheerio, and all that!

Oh Cashtown, Miss Manners would weep! You could teach Jacker Etiquette 101. I think one more touch though. . .some of the MH group are photographers. We should have someone on the scene to take one last pic of bike/rider for the sake of posterity. :icon_bigg

I can see that this thread was for nonsense. The motohouston garage sale has potential. It needs a strong leader to coordinate the operation.
Not to keen on jacking bikes.
Photography isnt my forte so I'll pass on that.
Painting? perhaps? Nutmeg has skills in that area. How about some semi nudes on members bikes?

Train monkeys to hold the swap meet for us and to buy what we need. That way we get what we need and can still go riding. BAM!!!

In all seriousness, I like the idea of a swap meet too, and it doesn't seem like a terribly complicated thing to organize if we keep it simple. :icon_smil Any suggestions for places?

And, for clarification, are you guys talking solely bike parts and pieces . . .or other swappable stuff as well? I could stand to possibly trade anime, Dvd's, games--just got an Xbox360 last night!--, books, etc. too, and I'm sure a few of you wouldn't mind trading something for Nutmegchoi's most excellent art either. If she'll bring something to trade, of course. :icon_bigg

And, I guess that, after serious reflection, I now know that I offered my driveway for the swap meet out of sheer selfishness. I thought that way I'd have first dibs on the cool stuff. , I'm evil. There have to be peeps [that's the first time I've ever used that word. . .feels awkward, yet freeing] here with larger patches of land or parking lots or something better suited.

But I still want a Christmas light tour! Any leaders?

My 2 cents is, only moto stuff but if ya have something you want to trade instead of cash that could be worked out.
I just mean the stuff out for swap/sale should be only moto. If Nutmeg wants to trade her art or somebody else wants to trade their used whips etc, for the moto stuff that would be cool.
