GTFO of the left lane if you are being gained on from behind. Simple truth very often bent for some inconsiderate 's own convenience. If you don't yield to my tailgating, I'll buzz you on the right and give you 6 inches back, side, and front...everytime. If I can pass you on the right, you deserve it.

And ya, I'll do it in the race truck with the race trailer on the open road, or on 59 commuting.

In my experience,the lanes are reveresed
The far right lane has the least amt of traffic(a forced passing lane)
The far left slowly(if you are lucky) passes slower traffic to it's right

Stick in the middle to keep your options open

Stay ahead of traffic not stuck in it
