I can barely walk

What a blast I had yesterday riding ALL DAY on the verge of being completely out of control! LOL

I was fortunate enough to win a free one day pass to the Texas Tornado Boot Camp at George's Christmas party. He started bugging me this week to come out, so I took friday off and made the short trek to Montgomery.

There are enough reviews on the Camp here and on other forums and they are all true, so I wont bore you with my review because it's the same as you've already read.. AWESOME!

I arrived on Day 4 of a week long camp so I was way behind and James Ellis took the same to work with me, exclusively, for the first couple hours of the day and got me up to speed. Everything is the complete opposite of what is natural for me. on the tank, push the bike down, don't lean into the corner, move your to the outside of the seat, weight the outside peg all the time, never move back on the seat, etc etc etc.

Anyway, by the end of the day I finished 2nd in my heat, 2nd in the semi and took the last grid position in the A Main. Of course, I fnished last, in the main (8th), and got beat by all the europeans but I beat quite a few as well. I hollered, "MH!" as I crossed the finish line, on one wheel, holding the number 1 high in the air. The frenchies looked at me crazy. OK.. kidding, but mostly true.

Anyway, thanks for the giveaway, thank George for getting me out there and thanks Joe P., Shea, Mike, Collin and especially James for all the help. :checkit:

Glad you had fun, Brandt! Sorry I missed you out there, though. I passed your good words along to the boss and he was appreciative. By the way, if you're sore you did it right!

glad to hear you had fun Brandt, i was greatly surprised at how well you were doing right away, before really being told anything. It was a pleasure to ride with you and I hope to be able to do it again with you there.

I'll tell ya what man... it's more seat time than I can handle for sure. 3 hot meals, all the monster energy you can drink, snacks, motorcycle, gear... It's a nice deal when you think about what all is included.

I hope to get out there again too. I'm not exaggerating when I say I can barely walk though. lol I'll have to do it when I have a week to recover!
