Cool Twisted Sisters/Hill Country

Next weekend, 1/21-22, I'm heading to Garner State Park(Concan, TX) on the bike.

I know there are tons of routes out that way, and great roads and great scenery.

Does anyone have any recommended routes, or roads I absolutely must ride because they're that awesome?

Thanks MH!

We're going to camp at Garner, I'll be on my black Z1000, and my buddy on his black R6. We may have another on a red Ducati if he can get his misfire worked out

Hope to see you out there!

take 337 from Leakey over to Camp Wood then north on 55 to Rock Springs then 377 northeast out of Rock Springs to and turn right on 41 and then turn right on 335 back to 55 in Barksdale and back on 337 to Leakey..

You will be glad you did. HW 55 has lots of high speed sweepers and 335 is great.

All these are good roads. 337 is my favorite, watch out between medina and vanderpool though, there is always at least one leo there. The motorcycle museum is a fun stop in vanderpool. The roads around comfort and sisterdale are also nice.

I like all the roads out there, buy for sure you gota hit the three famous ranch roads(twisted sisters). Also, I forgot the name of it but there is a road that has water flowing over it that is cool.

From I-10 just south of Comfort..check out R.M. 473 west to Sisterdale onto 281.. its a great road. Fresh asphalt west from Sisterdale out to 281...Great hills, sweepers and tight twisties the closer you get to 281..Check it!
Wish I was riding with ya..family and I hang on the Frio every summer!

Just picked up a map at Motorcycles Unlimited today that is waterproof, and has roads marked by difficulty I think. It is focused on the texas hill country area. May be worth going to Motorcycles Unlimited and picking one up.

Alright guys, heading out here in about 30 minutes! Thanks for the route ideas!

I've printed out ya'lls recommendations, and also got the Butler Map from Motorcycles Unlimited (badass map, great investment!).

If anyone is going to be in the area this weekend feel free to shoot me a PM.
