Its sad how many people commented on how they'd chase them down in their car and hit them.

IMHO, the BMW driver did SOMETHING to provoke the broken mirror- whether intentionally or on accident. IE almost ran them off the road, changed lanes into them, cut them off, sprayed their windshield wiper fluid on them, tossed a cigarette that hit the rider, etc etc the list goes on and on.

[Or maybe its just me that would never punch a mirror off "for the fun of it"?]

None at the moment..... :-(

If she was all by her lonesome self on the highway, I'm willig to bet she did something that instigated her getting her mirror broke off. About 90% of stunters out there don't break off or up peoples cars for no good reason. I think this story is a little one-sided. But will you see the accused going to the news to vindicate themselves? Nope

I only hear stories of mirrors being removed when drivers don't use them while changing lanes. Perhaps, she was too busy on her phone, and attempted to merge into their lane?

No need arguing with him - he's giving his own type of bad name by counseling riders to run from popo.

There are tons of comments and all negative towards bikers.

I don't really understand the damage to her car, though? It doesn't say that the mirror was broken off, and there are no pics of said damage. Maybe she got a rock chip and wanted to blame somebody - does say it was a NEW car.

You wouldn't be the bad guy if you just posted the story and left out the remarks.
We would have made up our own minds regardless.

I saw her interviewed by the news folks and of course they accompanied the interview with pics of her mirror... and videos taken by folks in cages of sport bikers doing really stupid on the roadways...
and even if she did cut them off, or drive in such a fashion as to them off, breaking off a mirror or something of that nature is a losing situation...
she might have been a senseless no seeing , but now.. on the news and to non-riders... riders are the bad guys..
and of course the dallas police spokesman says this kind of thing happens all the time but they can not catch them in the act and the videos fail to show plate numbers so there is not much the dallas police can do... so it looks to John Q Public like the police are backing up her story...
and those of you who defended the riders by saying she must have done something to provoke them are showing the same attitude as the cagers who vent frustration at the riders... neither of you know what happened and yet both of you justify violence against the other...

No, it's people who post "unedited" footage of 12 minute laps, lol, around 610 who take care of that.

The comments about people chasing down the bikes made me laugh sort of.. NOT THAT I WANT THIS TO HAPPEN but it would be funny to see some lady in a SUV try and chase down a sports bike.

Ding ding ding ding! We have a winner! Riders DO look like as an entire group. The only people who think it's cool that I ride are other riders.
