went to go visit a friend of mine in Pearland down 288 to exit 518 at about 2pm today and the wind was blowing super hard. My bike was leaned over while going 70mph in a straight line, at one point the was blowing so hard I changed lanes without even thinking about it.
I rode home at about 6:30pm from 288 to 610 and the wind was still blowing hard. Exhilirating ride thats for sure!!

Had 2 shirts and a sweater under my only leather riding jacket, that is perforated so are my gloves :/

I had to thaw my hands out when I got into work.

Need to work on my cage, I would have enjoyed the heater instead.

Wore a disposable Tyvec suit under my jeans and perforated jacket. Really helps. Now the hands are a different story. Glove liners inside my vented track gloves with last minute homemade heated grips. Still a little numb.

When you own an Aprilla, do you have to start thinking in C instead F?
Do you fill up with litres instead of gallons?

No, but you pay for parts and accessories in Euros. They list them as though they are in US$, but everything cost at least 1.3 to 1.6X more.

I thought it would be cool to wave to another rider while turning onto Westheimer and almost ate pavement. Not sure if it was cold tires or from water on the road, could have been both.
