His Harley could never catch my z. I run +2 rear, it's tuned, intake, ultralite aluminum rear sprock, 520 chain, etc. on GPS hits 141 with the gearing. My bike weighs half of his Hardley and probably has 30 more HP dude.....stupid was only not having insurance paper on me, but don't bash the Z. I mean I manage 1:50 even on my first CW day at MSRH....turned in low 1:40's CCW....I don't know why the Z750 gets no respect. It vibrates a lot and has a squishy suspension but I destroyed a lot of far more capable bikes in the most recent mock race....sorry to rant, I'm just proud of what this little two wheeled will do.

My plate is obscure. Never had a cop complain of location (I've actually stopped on three occasions...I'm straight trouble on a bike)

I use the bus lane all the time too.

Just call raymond rutherford. Tell him Jeremy send you and he should let you park at his house 3 blocks form the lubbock courthouse.

It's legal. Just obscure. Not whining. Just venting. Never once did I say I didn't deserve any of it. Just mad about the "at the officers discretion" issues. Law is supposed to be black and white. No gray area.

Hahah SHOULD be. Interpretation of laws should be left to judges. LEO's should observe and report.

Don't know why folks keep wanting to hide their license plates. It is just an invitation for LEO to pull you over. Plus a lot of the fender elliminators that fold the plate back under the undertail don't make the bike look any more "cool" (to put it nicely). All it does is send the message to the LEO: "Hey look at me, I'm the type that likes to disregard the law!"

I'm not passing judgement on anyone. I live next door to a HPD officer, so I get to hear it from their perspective.

Group of us got pulled over by DPS. Only one got a fixit ticket for a tucked plate. LEO was a rider, laughed and said, "we call those pursuit plates."

I thought the Diamond Lane was for Bus or HOV and technically a motorcycle is a HOV. I ride those all the time as well.

Yeah which apparently is the center lane. Even an overhead sign that points over to the middle lane. Was confusing whilst zipping around

I don't think the ones on say, Franklin, or San Jacinto, are considered HOV lanes. The signs say bus and right turn only.

There is one on the far right with a solid thick white line separating it from another diamond lane, which is okay to ride/drive in, which is separated by the rest of the lanes with the same dashed white lines.

It is only in effect during rush hour times.

I rode in... mostly spray from the streets until close to work, then a bit of rain from the sky... not enough to soak through the vented textile. Ankles are a little wet though.

Bike was washed this weekend
