Try these. Not much protection, but warm.

Yes, I do own these. Depends on how cold it is and how fast you're riding. For me, these are good at freeway speeds for about an hour with temps in the 40's. After that, you need to let go of the grips to wiggle your fingers a bit. It was 44 degrees when I left for work today. 22 mile commute and comfortable hands when I got there.

My commute to work used to be 32 miles (~45 minutes). In the 30's with these gloves I'd start getting a chill towards the end of the ride, but nothing unbearable. I imagine that freeway speeds in the 30's would result in cold hands fairly quickly.

I hate this weather. I moved to TX for sun and warmth!

I could have stayed in NY and got plenty of this .

I absolutely HATE anything under 80 degrees.

I'd rather ride back in Oklahoma at 20 degrees 15% humidity than in this 50 degree 60% humidity . Cuts right to the core. I think I was cold for two hours after I opened the shop.

It's been as low as 30* here in Pittsburgh the past two days. Saw a dude riding a scooter this morning, no lid, just a bundled up head..

There was an HPD traffic unit (ghost emblems) parked on the shoulder of the SW Freeway near Kirby with its lights off at 4:15am.

I cruised by at 70mph. He didn't budge.

I get the same comments. I ride in so much that when I actually do drive the truck it raises eyebrows. They say, "No bike today? What's the occasion?"
