Meh, with a 3gal tank, not worth risking saving a few cents. Rather keep getting the premium.

If your bike doesn't need premium you are getting less power AND paying more money. A lose lose.

Octane rating is an anti-knock index - a measure of how resistant a fuel is to knocking. Kinda like how a steel plate is resistant to penetration by a bullet. Thicker is always better, but if all you do is shoot BB's all day at it, a 6" thick armor plate is just dead weight.

Braking distance severely increased this morning on cold tires.
No squeals or anything just slip. I seriously have loads more grip on wet surfaces.
Sucked.

Little chilly but glad to be riding. Had a slight kidney stone situation early in the week and didn't want to get back on too soon.

When it's in the 30's, I prefer the CBR. That wind screen does make a difference

Chilly ride this morning, indeed. The jacket held up beautifully, neck protector was indispensable and I may need glove liners...

some light thermals and it's business as usual... now if the humidity levels jump up with another drop in the temp... wonder if we'll get any snow-rider pics this winter.

I must have a glove fetish. I've got like 7 pairs for different conditions and jackets.

I always wear a mankini when the temperatures drop this low. The key is to go fast enough so that the wind hitting your bare skin makes enough friction to warm you up.

How's that last re-entry job. Got to see the storms over the Atlantic?

It was not that bad. Last Friday I re-attach the liners to all my jackets plus I wear the Freeze-Out jersey from Cyclegear. Works really good.
