Ride home from Westchase area to FM1960/249 area last night sucked. Left work around 7:30pm. Rained the whole way, had two cars come into my lane and almost take me out. Had my liner for the jacket so that wasn't bad, but I had on mesh riding pants which stopped little to no rain.

Rain gear makes it fun. Especially when you get splashed with a wave and stay dry!

I had frog togs. They suck. I think the pant has a seam to allow you to reach into your pants. Thats where water leaks in. I use a light weight rain cycling jacket and some rain pants from academy that bags itself. Best geae fir rain yet. I still cant find a good rain glove though that does not leak through seems. Anyone have suggestions, other than nitrile

the "feelers" went out long ago. He is racing out of the closet now.

I don't care about being wet unless it is cold. When it gets cold I ride in some cheap ski pants, ski gloves and use a liner.

Boots are gortex and non perforated leather.

Thanks for the tip. I am not looking to ride in the rain on a regular basis, so I don't need complete rain proof. Just something to keep me mostly dry, so when the weatherman screws up like yesterday, I don't get soaked and miserably cold.

The rain leaked at the crotch if my rain pants, so when I took them off it looked like I my jeans. Moist is a gross feeling.

IMO riding in the rain is the best time to actually yourself. Saves time stopping somewhere to find a suitable tree, bush, dumpster, or Yamaha

This morning was chilly! Picked a great night to soak my gloves to get the dye out. I had to stop at Walmart and get some cheapie insulated pleather gloves. For $13 they worked fantastic.

I killed a possum and made gloves! Buck up!!

Jk. But yeah a chilly ride to downtown. It felt good! I'm from Oklahoma, used to the cold, but there's something so different about this awful humidity + cold
