Agree. Swamp is no fun. I'll wait until it cools down.

Yepppp.

Sweating isn't a lot of fun, but that's what spare clothes are for.

As soon as I get to work, I inhale 24 ounces of cold water and a fresh undershirt, and I'm good to go.

i rode in this morning and scuffed up a gentlemens 06 bmw, it was either my boots black sole or the rubber boot covering the peg but a very superficial surface scratch on his bumper-cover. -_-;; i was looking behind me to make sure i didnt get creamed while merging and must've misjudged my placing and bounced off the edge of his bumper when i began my merge. sounded worse than it was. the man came out screaming and shaking i was like did you even look at it? and he shut the up then went and looked at it. oh well 1st time for everything.

To anyone working at Texas Instruments, sorry about your nice field, I was the riding/sliding across it because it wasn't as flooded as the road.

Somehow through sidewalks, yards, fields, wrong way down a one-way, and a few very sketchy crossings we made it. I'm proud of my Triumph. At one point water rushed up to my knees, but the bike kept on just fine.

anyone else ride in?

Rode in today. Had a near death experience at 610 and 45 interchange. That is 2 for the week. I feel like I might be pushing my luck.

I was next to a car that rearended someone the other day. Driver wasn't paying attention to traffic in front and slammed on his brakes and skidded into the back of the car in front of him. I had my horn blaring so the car in front of him knew what was coming and so that the idiot knew I was next to him so he wouldn't swerve into me.

Pretty much same thing for me. Slow mover in far left lane. Guy goes to pass him on the right in my lane, and that is when Mr. Slowmover decided to get out of the way. Right into the guy passing on the right. Thankfully they didn't touch, but it was certainly a NASCAR moment out there.

Yesterday was great, relatively for Houston summer weather anyway. This afternoon is supposedly 40% chance of thunderstorm, so no riding for me.
