And it appears that you just "let it go" instead of getting into a famous youtube road rage incident.
Good job.

i rode in to work yesterday and rode back home in a coworker's truck, with the bike in the back. lol i was thinking about riding in today, too. really glad i didnt. i cant see the outdoors, but it sounds about as bad as yesterday. the ride in yesterday was perfect. who could have imagined how bad it got?

I normally ride in every day. This week I have my boys working with me so I'm stuck caging it. I miss my bike.

Nope, I wear:

Helmet
Jacket
Gloves
Knee/Shin guards
Boots

You realize sweat washes off easier than blood

If you wear it on the street does that make it a "tracksuit"?

In my experience, riders with the least amount of skill wear the least amount of gear.

lol I was joking. I always wear boots, jeans and helmet. The jacket and gloves are optional though...

Not sure if that last part is accurate but whatever makes you feel better

Doesn't make me feel better, it's just what happens on lots of group rides. Experienced riders fully geared up, and noobs wearing t-shirts, finger-less gloves and sneakers.

Interesting.

1. Helmet
2. Gloves
3. Jacket

There are a very few times I don't wear my jacket, but I never get on without gloves. I like my hands intact.

Makes sense. I need to get me some good summer gloves. I just have these big gauntlets I bought last fall which kind of deters me from wearing them in the heat.

Cycle gear has good prices on gloves and knee pads. It's something.

I rode to work yesterday for the first time in a long time. Moved back in April and my bike was at my girlfriends house. Before that I haven't ridden much. Rain and taking kids to school. Anyway. Good ride into work. No incident.

Today I took a ride to see what the flood did to CR 25 in Brazoria County. The water got up to the height of some people's privacy fence. And that's the good side of the flood. I didn't venture off to the side roads between the Brazos and Oyster Creek on FM 1462 in Rosharon. At any rate it was a good ride.

On the Gear comments, I always use a jacket, Full face helmet, gloves, boots on and long pants. I'm currently on a Harley Street Glide. I'm sorta the anomaly on Harleys being all geared up. I've been hit in the face shield too many times with bugs, rocks or other debris to go without a full face helmet. Same on the gloves. I have some of those Aerostich gloves that look like plan gardening gloves. Not too hot in the summer time for me. And I use and mesh jacket in the summer. The ride is much better without a rock in the forehead or bugs in the teeth.
