I found my phone.... Well what's left of it. Wished I had it in the otter box or at least backed up all my up in the sky. It was located just as you merge onto 610 east from 288 south.

Also found an ID, lone star card, and two other phones. Motorola and a Samsung.

well, I ended up pushing the bike for ~0.6 miles in full gear to the nearest Exxon. I was going to fill up at Holcombe/Greenbriar but it was really backed up . I thought I could make it to Shepherd/59 but the bike started sputtering once I turned on to Shepherd from Rice Blvd. and died somewhere before Sunset Blvd. I was riding on the gas light for 2 days.

114 miles all city, 3.83 gal to fill up = 29.77 mpg. I still think my bike is running rich, but no funds to get it worked on and no time to take it apart, plus I ride to work every day instead of taking the car, which gets ~21 mpg.

So you were riding on Rice and headed toward Sunset...

The plot thickens.

Actually about the same to a little worse. Thought it would be better but that 471cc engine doesn't seem to be efficient at an indicated 70 mph. I think the speedo may be off because I seem to pass more cars at 70 on this bike than I do any of the other bikes I own and have owned.

It's been reported that the 500R gets better mileage than my F model, probably due to the R's fairings.
