Same. My car died and I haven't bothered to go get another one. Sitting behind trucks on 225/146 is getting really old.

Don't sit behind them. I always lane split when I can! I'm very courteous most of the times!

A buddy of mine had started spraying his helmet with cologne and other deodorants... he called me yesterday and said he almost wrecked. He was sweating so much the pads got soaked and the sweat+deodorants+cologne all mixed and made their way to his eyes. He managed to pull off the highway and flush his eyes with some bottles of water he had in his backpack.

So yea, I'd wash them with water and minimal soap.

He rides wearing a half shell, so I'm sure the full faced helmets are different.

I rode in today only because I'm headed home by lunch. It sure was a humid ride in and with a forecasted temp of 103F it's going to be a rough one for anybody riding this afternoon.

Yeah, this is making me almost want to buy a knockoff camelbak. Or a new truck.

I almost rode in, but the weather man said there will be a 30% chance of rain... which when that is said, it usually pours all afternoon!

So for the sake of not having to wipe every chrome piece of my bike again until after tonight, I decided to drive the truck into work.

Well if you know Houston, a 10-30% means pouring and anything over 40% is really, "It may rain in an isolated area, but more than likely it will get cloudy and clear up"
