Rode in from Pearland to IAH in the rain. Tested my new rear tire and rain gear. The ride home was much nicer.

Rode in to work for nightshift, roads still a little slick at 4:30. Looks like it will be clear in the morning. Installing Nissin 4 piston calipers on my Concours tomorrow. Looking forward to better brakes.

I've got a new fuel filter on the way that I hope to change out this weekend. Only other symptom has been a dramatic drop in fuel economy. Last two fill ups have been ~2.8 and ~2.4 gallons after only 60 miles each.
Does your bike have an O2 sensor? The bold, plus your mileage drop, sounds like a bad sensor making it run rich.

It does, and would almost be willing to bet that's it, but want to do the code scan before I start replacing parts blindly.

Does your bike have a standard OBDII plug? If so, Autozone should be able to scan it.

Rode in all week!!! Has been a little chilly in the mornings, but the afternoon is a huge payoff!!! Just wear a jacket liner in the morning and remove it for the amazing ride in the afternoon!! Makes the commute much more enjoyable when you aren't caging it!

Heard that. Riding saved me about 45min of built-up traffic and got me to work right on time

I left a little after 8:00AM and was still very foggy. The helmet shield got as wet as when is raining but the temperature was very nice.
