Has been pleasant riding daily to work all summer long. I ride no matter the weather, unless it's going down pour.
I can tell school is almost here. The traffic in the last few days has increased it seems.
Not looking forward to the school buses, soccer moms and school zones in 2 weeks. Back to the grind I guess.
Will agree, the morning rides this week have been very nice weather wise.

Good ol' 99's starting to get congested around 5 for no reason, other than more traffic on the freeway... it's always bothersome seeing a mile or two up normal-flowing traffic while sitting in bumper to bumper. Ride in was great, ride out was lol. Truck and trailer wanted to make a left in front of me coming out of a left light. Twas fun.

I rode to work Friday Spring to La Porte .... morning ride was nice. Ride to lunch and home was a little steamy lol. I hate paying for tolls on the Hardy to sit in traffic at 5pm north of the beltway .. its crazy. A toll road to help with traffic flow is just as bad as the free lanes on 45 just does not start at the loop.

I am pro home school after this bullshit traffic but I rode the line and made it to work on time.

At 5:30am 59 has like 10 cars on it. It's beautiful. Going home, however, always sucks sitting in 95 degree heat. Too scared to split.

About 4 honks today but bellaire PD had 610 shut the down for a small fender bender so there was basically a dead stop and the cagers were getting restless.

I didn't ride in early this week because I was scared off by the weather report but saw no rain going home, so I rode Wed and was fine. (couldn't ride yesterday b/c I had kids in the car) Rode in again today figuring I'd lucked out so far, and while it's been raining quite a bit here recently, the sky looks like it's clearing up. Keeping fingers crossed.

I don't understand why they honk. As if we are suddenly going to change our minds and stop because they expressed their displeasure. If they are jealous.... they can easily come join us, saves on gas over the cage and you aren't stuck in traffic as bad.... just saying.

I usually wave to them....today outta have plenty of 'em (honkers) since the pavement is wet and traffic will be crawling.

A/C went out in the cage, so rode in today. Beautiful commute, spent as much time admiring the full moon as I did looking at the road : )
