Past three mornings have been glorious!! I wish every hot day started off that cool. I'm enjoying it while it lasts. Beats a humid morning on the way in any day!

Having a bike, and weather like this makes going into work so much more tolerable.

you kidding??? twice this week I've had to fight autopilot to keep the bike from passing the workplace. Riding to and from lunch proves getting back to the office is difficult.

It was nice, just that my bike wouldn't start this morning. Had to take the minivan (sidecar).

OK .. so ride home was traffic clogged .. I so wanted to ride the line but there were so many people jumping lanes I thought it was better not to.

I really wanted a button box and misc weapons for the riding in front of me when I got on I-10 @ Wayside. I keep tasting dirt in my mouth and flying in my nose .. thought ah just some dirt on the road closed my front vent. Then it still keep coming in .. so I opened my shield and bam smacked with a face full of grit (was wearing dark shield so wanted a better look ... stupid me). I pull up beside the truck that was in front of me .... FUCKEN BED LOADED WITH FILL DIRT .... NO TARP COVERING IT .... I blipped the throttle and he looked over I pointed to the bed of his truck and gave him the old one finger salute and hammered down.

Never really thought about having to eat dirt on a concrete freeway ... I was wrong

Well my bike is too slow to run from the cops. I have not crashed YET. There is no chance a supermodel is going to show up nekid and ask for a ride. Until one of those things happen ... I have nothing but lame stories to share.

The whole situation just made me think how much of a noob I still am when a little dirt (ok a lot of dirt) caught me by surprise.

Its ok ... my wife said "well if you were driving your truck with a load of dirt would you cover it" ... I politely showed her the same finger the guy in the truck received . Its not good when the wife responds the same way a steer from MH does

Haven't rode the streets since July, 2013. I rode into work today, it felt amazing. Much needed therapy.

I need to find a way to get the bike upstairs so I can ride it the 20 feet from the bed to the office.
