That's like saying a two-wheeled motorcycle.

agreed.

But riding for me depends on how late I am. I need a lot of time to get ready n now to put on gear???
Hhmmmm.

For me the only extra gear I wear to work is shin guards, jacket, gloves, helmet. It's faster for me to put on motorcycle boots than it is to tie a pair of shoes.

O wow, shin guards to work? Ur safe. I admire u more each day! I slack with that.

I have to make sure my phone is in my pocket vs throwing it in my work bag, id badge clipped on ready to swipe for the parking lot at work, music ready, bluetooth on, braid my hair, put on bandana, make sure lunch is upright in packpack so it wont spill.
A lot of work.

A lot of work.
Long ago my only gear was a helmet and fingerless gloves while riding to and from campus on I-35. I'm smarter now, plus there's lots more gear for street riders these days

usually doesn't take me much more time to ride than drive (when I had a car)... I pack the same bag, when it's cool I wear the same leather jacket, only difference is putting on my overpants, gloves and helmet. Took me a little longer this morning as I wanted to set up my new SMH10 with my phone.

Yap, between putting on gear and rolling/loading the bike, it takes me typically 10-15min more to leave the drive way on a bike. Winter gear takes longer too. All that rarely factors into the ride-or-not decision though. Work schedule is not too strict and I typically gets to the office early anyway. If I'm late, I prefer to wait out the rush hour anyway.

I could have used my warmer jacket, but then I'd be too warm this afternoon

Saw a geared up cruiser rider almost get side swiped by a SUV this morning. SUV didn't even see this guy and he was all by himself in the right lane. Cruiser moved off towards tr right shoulder and sped up to get past the SUV. I thought I was going to have to respond to an accident.

Then saw a red newer ninja 650 parked on the left shoulder if 610 north passed the galleria with his hazards on talking on the phone. I guess he had to take a call.

Pleasant ride in today and yesterday...

Looks like more motorcycles in the parking lot... I actually now have to hunt for motorcycle parking in the garage...

no big deal, though... its totally worth it

I was amazed at how there was little traffic on 610 near the galleria. Blew my mind.
