It was a great commute into work today.

Hopefully, it will be a great commute back home, too.

Hey look, I made it twice this week...even with the impending doom forecast.

It was perfect inbound and outbound today. a little wind never hurt anyone. at least it wasn't bone chilling cold. you cant have your cake and eat it too.

temp was perfect (for me) but yeah, coming home at 8PM was a lil gusty.... but I'll take it. Didn't have numb fingers or sweat rolling down my face

It's nice having a fairing and windscreen, even if they're small

, I seriously need to get some ballast weight into my sidecar. Rode in on the 59 HOV this morning and floated the car twice in that little s-curve section right around 610.

Also (re-)discovered that the stock Venture foam grips will retain water if the bike gets left outside and there's precipitation or a heavy dew. Wet gloves don't do much for heat retention.

Sidecars are an odd breed of fun.

Yeah, everyone assumed it belonged to one of the old guys that was over there talking to me about it.

Oh well, I don't mind the old man bike. It sure beats a minivan for carting my boys around. I don't imagine I'll make it out tomorrow night, my wife has a gig and she doesn't like the idea of me having the boys in the side car on the highway just yet.

I'm about ready to stab whoever was in charge of weather.com when I checked it around 4:30am.

This is not 60 degrees and slight chance of rain around 5pm...

Rode in today in just slacks and a non waterproof textile jacket and its supposed to dip to the high 40s by 5 -.-

The rain eased up to a sprinkle at the office so I took off trying to make it home before it started again.

Rode right into a wall of rain once I hit downtown

Ha, unfortunately I'm about 35 miles from home. About to head out. At least I brought the waterproof overpants and jacket today.
