Eeexactly. Minutes! It was windy at first too (before the rain), I was like hot dang.
Even though the top of my tank bag had a rain fly water still got into it from the bottom underside where tank is.

So what was our lesson of the day? Carry a ziplock bag . Hehe.

Finally got the bike out after putting on new tires. Hard to believe how much a commuter profile can mess up the handling.

Rode to work, then running at memorial park. On the way home I felt the heat badly.

Rode in this morning. Ran out of gas on 290 and putted into the Crowne Plaza at Pinemont. Thank goodness for a reserve option, saved my . I thought my old bike went further in the "ON" position. Guess not.

Haven't had a bike with "reserve" in a while. I bet a lot of kids these days don't even know what a "petcock" is. They prolly think it's mama's nickname for dad.

hahaha....I guess it comes with technology. New bikes get a light on the dash, old bikes sputter to a stop.

first thought...., out of gas already? only 110 miles on the odometer....second thought, hit the reserve and keep rolling, 3rd thought...get yo off the highway and do that standing next to the bike, not at 80 mph. lol Not sure if I didn't top off or if this bike drinks it faster than my 94. I thought I could get to 140ish before hitting the reserve tank.

No rain on my ride home. Hot as though. I think it's time for some riding boots.

I need to start riding more often. I have done so but it's been too hot. I only bought the bike (only cared about getting a motorcycle in general) to save fuel costs so it defeats the purpose of my purchase when I'm not riding it. Take some wear and tear off my car and give me an opportunity to fix it up as I wanted to all along.

I had hail coming down at my house in Tomball so the bike stayed in the garage tonight......first time in the last month I drove my truck to work.

BW8 was backed up yesterday so I took the long way home, via I-10 and 99. Rode around small puddles but never did get a drop on me.

I've ridden to work most days for the last two years, and everyday since March. I really got hammered by the rain last Thursday on the way home.
