decent ride in this morning, accidentaly went thru the new "TOLL" lane on my motorcycle while entering the HOV lane this morning, hopefully some fool at the toll road authority doesnt flag my bike for not paying a toll (that motorcycles arent required to pay)

other than that, the traffic was light. light enough that driving a car might've not been that much more costly time wise. my worst fear on the bike however is a wreck in the HOV lane, to or from work, as they seem to back the road up for miles without the slightest bit of notification (i've had to get on the HOV lane and then get right back off @ mangum luckily the entry/exit are [were] right next to each other because i would've been stuck)

This weather is approaching my limits of tolerance. Will probably retreat to the A/C'ed car for the season before too long.

I've been through the "TOLL" side dozens of times, occasionally right in front of police and have never had an issue.

I did get pulled over today for having unreadable plate, but just a warning (Thank you officer) because new plate has been ordered.

I rode in, leather jacket and jeans. Wasn't too bad. I'm sure within a month it'll be pretty hot.

It took me a little longer to get to work tonight, but it wasnt because of traffic....had a HCSO mirror me all the way from 249 to when I came off 290 onto 610

Got caught in the rain yesterday morning coming home from work. Was drenched!
Had to pull over under the freeway at newcastle to try to protect my newly bought $682 phone . Luckily my tank bag had a rain fly. Whew!
...Strapped that on n continued on my way. kept praying n saying aloud, keep the bike straight, keep the bike straight, pls no oil patches!

.

Didnt check forecast again n rode again to work today. It was a magnificent ride . Cool going in, chilly coming home.

Same thing happened to me.....the rain was coming down hard! In a matter of minutes there was a ton of standing water on 249.....my Road 3's worked perfectly. I had to stop and move my phone into my backback to keep it from getting soaked.

Was a bit chilly coming into work this morning. Almost felt like I should have had my liner in the jacket. Feels like it's gonna be a good ride home.

Probably should have taken the wifeys vstar to put some miles on it.
