Livingston Route conditions anyone?

Has anyone rode to Livingston recently and know of the road conditions out there? Any issues with deer this time of year?

I've never had issues with the deer, only the drunken deer hunters. But if you stay off the dirt roads you won't have any run ins with them.

Deer is everywhere in TX, same rules apply. Be especially careful at dusk and dawn and don't overdrive your lights at night. If a collision with a deer is unavoidable by braking then don't try. Better to downshift and stay on the gas.

True but deer have the tendency to be out next to the roads in colder weather without a care in the world.

new years eve we rode and they were waiting for us at a stop sign, they were setting about 200 yds away watching it and said we ran it which we did so we all got a greatest rider award.

Just glad they didnt catch us on the twisties I had it WFO a couple times.

All the agencies are working together sheriff dps constables, some of our guys stopped some turned around and some kept going and all were stopped by different ones no matter which direction they went, when your out there they have you besides just hitting a dirt road and waiting it out.

but besides that the roads are amazing out that way, if your further out they are even better.
