CRADAR

I searched and nothing came up so I don't think this is a repost. I often ride with others in case something happens and when I do ride alone I am very careful and sometimes check in with people. This app may save your life or the life of someone you know.

Correct, assuming your phone isn't damaged in the accident.

Another, less specific, option... is google latitude. Not exactly pro-active though.

I make sure it's on when I ride. If someone doesn't hear from me, they at least have a point to start looking. Same if I call and say, "help, but I don't know wtf I am."
Also, I don't answer my phone while riding... they could check and see that I'm still moving.

Their portfolio says Android only but the FAQ says App Store also. I emailed them to find out. Will post their response.

Will you prepare the description and coordinate with the iPhone App Store and the Android Marketplace?
We will prepare all of the marketplace documentation and images, and upload the application to Apple’s iStore, the Android Marketplace, and the amazon App Store. We will also assist you in making the application downloadable from your site.

--------
WTF? I've had an iphone since day 1 and never heard of the iStore.
