Some people are so shallow.
My wife and I have been together longer than some of you have been alive.
We have had VERY good times and some VERY VERY bad times.
We stuck through it thick and thin. I just wish that she would be able to understand the passion I have for wanting to be the BEST at what ever it is I'm involved in. And to be the best it takes lot's of practice / seat time.
I'm not trying to ignore her nor my family but I do want to learn everything I can about getting smoother / faster around the track.

I bought a bike that has already been dropped. She already dropped it while practicing anyway.

My wife had her hobbies and passion before we met. I had mine. We shared the same in music( we both play guitar) and she got me back into church. ( boy is it getting warm in here or is that my sins catching up to me . hehe )
I love doing the church choir with her and helping with her Church Youth Group. Thats her passions. She doesnt complain when I ride and am gone all day long. I got a good one and so did she.

I lucked out with my wife. We got married in 78 days, met on Jan 10 married Mar 28. Marriage is hard as and I wouldn't do it again, but she's a great person. I originally didn't want a bike. All I did was work and sleep, nothing more. She thought I needed to hang out with my friends more, so she called my buddies, read a few mags, went to the dealers and then picked out and bought my bike. Now she's because it takes away from the limited time we have together.

She doesn't really have here own hobbies but i try to support whatever she does get into. I think what she enjoys most is spending time with me. So I do my best to oblige her on that. I have learned that if I do my part I get pretty much whatever I want.

She even bought tix to the AMA superbike shootout at mid-ohio back in oct. She tried to convince me to get motogp tix but I don't wanna deal with the crowds.

I've been kinda lucky with girls. My ex always let me do my thing, and now my current lets me have my hobbies (Golf, f-ball, bike, etc). I wanted to go to Duke last summer for biomedical research, she was cool with it. I wanted to go to cancun for 10 days w/ my best friend, got to do that w/out a complaint. Bought my second bike as soon as i got back from Duke and no complaints. She goes riding w/ me, but she gives me space to ride it solo and get some time to myself. Only one rule she has, dont do anything do jeapordize either one of us getting into med-school.
