Arrow Attn: Married Men or men in serious relationships

Does your significant other have a hobby or something that they enjoy to do as much as you do with your *insert hobby*
For me I've gone through many phases in my life.
Skateboarding / Surfing / DJing / Producing music / Buying selling swapping Cuban cigars / and now Street bikes - Track days etc...

my wife does not and never really has had a hobby that she can dive into like I do with each and I don't think she can understand the passion I have for things when I'm all in.

Is it just my wife or are there more out there like this?

My girlfriend wont even get on my bike for a ride around the block. She thinks Im crazy for risking my life just to ride "a stupid motorcycle." Ive tried and tried to explain the draw of it to her, and told her that maybe a ride would change her mind, or at least make her more tolerant...no dice, she wont even sit on it in the driveway.
But she doesnt give me , always tells me to have fun and be carefull, and patiently pretends to listen when I go on and on about a new model, or MotoGP etc.
Shes a good one, but she just doesnt get it.

other then sharing mine your not alone, the more unique hobbies are my own (in your case cuban cigars). Your best bet is to find your s.o. a girlfriend, from there its down hill if they like each other b/c girls like to go shopping and play dress up and at the mall.

My ex told me he was tired of hearing motorcycle all the time.
But he was very supportive about my passion though.
Just didn't want to hear about it, or less.

Now she does LOVE to shop.
Not for anything in particular just Shop.
And not to really blow money.
She looks for steals and deals.

I can't stand shopping (unless its for the bike or for my hobby)

from a womens stand point:

i bought my bike to try to get closer to james... well thats yet to work so now im "getting" in to the bike thing. i REALLY like it.

as for b/4 the bike, NO nothing. my hobby was at james about the bike...

but now that i do have it, i hardly ride it... i have told myself SEVERAL times. "this was a waste of money" b/c my "plan" (to enjoy something with james) did not work. i have had the bike 3 months and all i have heard is " my bike is not street leagal", therefore i ride alone...

but just recently, which he has shown with the pics of the GREEN paint. he is making an effort to make the bike streetable.

the very very FEW times i rode WITH him i LOVED it... BUTTTTTTT that never happens anymore...

so i love my baby bike!

That is the way my ex was... but she never really complained about it. She already knew I was nuts.

theres the right attitude. that child "you gave your wife" is not just her hobby. If you aren't involved in her life from the beginning, you'll pay for it later on down the road. So you best change up "your" hobby a little bit. you sound like the typical "young father" when you say things like that. You need to change up that attitude.

not trying to be a dic k but, just so that you know, this is how i view you.
