3090

Sitting at Yankees...
Watch it out on 3090 - some nasty patches of loose gravel. Not too many, but they are there, had my rear tire sliding couple of times ( no my pants are still clean ). So if you planning going this direction - be careful.
Peace

I rode all of 3090 today. No issues with gravel. Weird.

Closer to this sharp 15 mph turn. After the warning sign. The patches, where no yellow line, just some yellow stubs between lanes. The surface is not completed and the gravel is sitting in the tar loosely. Mostly on straights, but one or two in turns. If you accelerate hard on this surface you may slide...

We rode it today. It looks scary in places but the surface seemed fine in the "tire tracks"

I've been out to 3090 twice in the last week or so. Was there the day before this post.

3090 is just sporadically gravelly...grainy...rocky...sandy...dogs...cows... cops...idiot squids...giant trucks that need not be on that road at all...

You just always need to be careful when riding/driving 3090, or any road for that matter. I always ride any road I plan to go spirited on twice. The first time through is just to scout it.

Appreciate the heads up. Necessary to remind people to pay attention.

Usually scout corners before I get to them...I take it easy on blind corners..Me a safe rider..
