Jay Newton's 2012 practice bike. It is a 2007 Yamaha R6 completely prepped by Brandon and John at P1 Racing.

Sooo, yeah.. take your time getting him up to speed.

He stared at it in the garage last night, and sat on it this morning for an hour!! I broke down and let him ride it up and down the street a few times. He rode one at TWS (Texas World Speedway) a couple months ago and did fairly well on it. That's why we got this one and had it prepped for him. I have some better body work (SharkSkinz) that we are going to put on it when it gets painted. I think this is Hot Bodies, and it does not fit very well, but it does have fresh paint by Alco Automotive, so it will be ok for now. Still a few things to get, but it is 98% complete. Just need case covers, tank sliders, and a quickshifter.

Quickshifters are the absolute bomb diggity...you don't realize how much you're missing out on until you've ridden something with one.
