Coming back from a meeting this morning on the Beltway bridge on the east side had a bucket in the road that I couldn;t avoid and this is the result.

even if you don't buy the OEM, there are lots of replicas that are not that expensive.

$300 for getting it painted
30minutes of your time..

give me the year and the color code off the info plate on the inside of your door or under the hood in the middle above the radiator and i can get you a quote on the paint job... should be like 6 letters or numbers.. maybe 4-6

i'd be somewhat hesitant about fitment and quality with the ebay stuff, they may be fine and dandy, but do some reasearch before you make your decision.

check bimmerforums...i just searched quickly for e39 front bumpers and there's several to choose from. make sure you get a quality paint job...non-oem front bumper + paint job = many questions from potential buyers...esp in the motorsport cars.

good luck

Yeap that's my concern as well. Had previously purchased non OEM body parts for my 328is as well as my E36 M3 and fit and finish wasn;t BMW quality. Kind of leaning towards a Hamman bumper or something of that nature. BMW just quoted me 700-900 (bumper, paint etc..) which is lower than what I was thinking.

Forget that.... You were coming back from a business meeting so that means you were on the clock so that means employer is responsible for damages.....go to the dealer get quality work and have a rental
