Looking to buy one...

Muddytaco, I went by there today... It was awesome and the sales rep was good help too. About 3 weeks ago I bought a Bell Vortex helmet from Motorcycles Unlimited. When the guy there measured me he said I was like a med / large.
I ended up going with the Large Vortex.

Today at 2 Wheel Toys I tried on the medium Bell Ride Smart-1, man what a difference. The helmet was snug but seemed to fit ok, its making me wonder if maybe I went with the wrong size regarding the Large Vortex I got at Motorcycles Unlimited?!?!?!?! The guy also told me that the helmet will break in and fit looser so now nervous about the large Vortex I got. The helmet is still brand new with the tags on so im wondering if I can switch to a Medium. Planning on calling Motorcycles Unlimited tomorrow... The large Vortex fits snug too but just a tad bit of wiggle.

I also tried on some jackets at 2 Wheels, liked some of the Alpinestars but I need to do more research on them to see which one I want. I like the way the SIDI Streetburner boots felt too.

Overall good experience and good help.

PS - I live in Katy too.

Fwiw the RS1 fits looser than the Vortex. Different models will fit differently.
However if you have any concerns come by and I can check fit for you.

Thanks a lot Patrick. Ohhh, I was under the impression that the Ride Smart-1 was suppose to be tighther than the Vortex. If thats the case then im sure ill be good with the Vortex. I still want to keep the Vortex, but was thinking about trying the medium... Ill probably swing by tomorrow. Thanks a lot.

Eventually when I get the funds ill pick up a Ride Smart-1.

The RS1 is definitely a nice helmet.
Swing by with the Vortex.
We guarantee fit so if you prefer a medium we can exchange it no problem.

Team Mancuso SW dealership has a nice selection of helmets. Jacket selection is good if you want branded gear (Triumph, Ducati, etc...).
they will only let you return it for another helmet or store credit.

Notice the small sign in the corner next to the lids...

ps, I got a new XL Shoie rf-1000 for sale.

$150 it's yours.
